As others have posted there are quests that have such rare mobs that they arent completed for a couple levels. Message Edited by Rhianni on AM. In my view, it is the single BEST feature of the entire game, and I find it a joy be always be able to find quests to do, and that it never matters what level the quest is or what level I am as long as I can manage it , it may well be fun or interesting, just for its own sake.
So the idea that suddenly all quests that might involve killing grey mobs would no longer be do-able Please, please, please SoE.. It would be a huge mistake. There is no reason to prevent people from completing interesting content, for lore or fun reasons alone never mind other concerns, just because it happens to be trivial at the level of that character at that time. There is nothing like they did or removed completely about gray quest mobs. I just said, there are some quests that needs to be retouched because some of those quests does not count "greys".
Most of those quests probably are untouched since CU because barely anyone does them or forgetten in mess of CU. It is not like that is a feature on Test Center, it it is same in live, same in TC, just forgetten quests.
I just say there are some quests like that. Members List Mark Forums Read. I have a question about something I've seen appear in two different threads, alluding to something currently on Test, and I'm wondering if my understanding of it is true. It seems to be an unintended by-product of the writ restructuring. Time will tell if it is a feature or a bug. You need to be at least green for that kind of quests. I hope they fix that and everything will be marvelous On this one, I'm not sure it means Test, but since I play mostly on the live servers, and I can currently kill gray mobs for quests and get credit, I can't think where else this would be happening, so I'm tentatively assuming he means Test Server where this is how it is.
My first question is whether this is actually across the board on Test Server. For example, if I am level 50, and I am doing a book quest, where you read it, kill 10 mobs, read again, kill 10 more, repeat usually 1 or 7 more times for a total of 3 or 9 steps of 10 mob types killed , does this mean this is now uncompletable without mentoring if you outlevel the mobs? If so, well that sucks. As for HQ's not counting if the mobs are gray, per a Test player, that is currently how it is.
I think that would blow even more than the above as most HQ's are done not for the item, nor the personal experience earned upon completion, but for the status points and guild XP, so most are left to late, simply because they're not always easy to get groups to do when level appropriate. Anyway, I know I'm not a regular Test player I do have a level 34 there, but simply do not plan on playing on Test with so few other people playing , but I was wondering if the above is all true, and if so, was it intended, and if that's also true, is it planned on actually hitting the Live servers when 19 goes there?
If it does, I can only see bad things as a result of it. You will frustrate so many players by doing this mostly those who like the Lore of the game, and work on older quests instead of deleting them, simply because they LIKE to finish quests, even for minimal XP, for the story aspects of them. Why would you want to do this quest for a season 3 familiar if you already have a really good familiar? Because GU added the ability to level your current familiar by "consuming" season 3 familiars, and free season 3 familiars are therefore a happy thing, eh?
There will be no quest feather. The first time you talk to them, there will be a considerable bit of chatter before you are handed a house item book, On Founding the Conservatory lore, no trade. Do what you wish with the book, then hail them again to get the quest. You will be handed an "empty familiar cage". Ignore the flavor text on it, as it will say it is only for amphibians, and it is for any creature type. It is a level 5 mission. It will give you a random creature type to trap, and you must find and trap them out in the world.
The mob can be any level as long as it is the proper mob type. A note that I found read "As the shifting draws near, we must be sure to have suitable hosts prepared and ready. This matter is serious and requires your full cooperation. Those that have been chosen to be seeds, must have an adequate host for their spirit, it has been decided that goblins of high intelligence would be the best use currently. These hosts will need to be brought to the vestibule for their transformation. Start: I need to find a goblin of higher intelligence.
Complete: I found a goblin of higher intelligence than the rest of the goblin scum. Stage 2 To get rid of this stinking goblin I need to find the vestibule. Start: I must find the vestibule.
Complete: I have found the entrance to the vestibule. Stage 3 I have found the vestibule, but have yet to find where to leave this goblin. Start: I must rid myself of this goblin. Complete: I am finally rid of the goblin.
Quote Reply. Reward is. It should be said that the reward for this is your very own house goblin pet named Blikritz. Anonymous View User Forum. Ditto Circus - no update for me either. I've been carrying this thing around for ages and thought I'd do it to clean up my journal. I crashed on zoning into the vestibule and wondered if that did it until I saw your comment. Place all gobbies and no update. Will try again when timer resets but after that - meh - too much trouble for a house pet reward.
Well, the zone won't update for me at all. Clicked on the door myself Ran around in circles outside and inside the Vestibule, no update. Did a patch break it? Or am I out of luck because I had to leave from time constraints? To Spawn the medium the fast way just zone out and in until its up..
Just finished this quest after Live Update 24, it works exactly the same as the directions above, but you now receive your reward a goblin housepet as soon as you place the first unconscious goblin on an altar, no need to go further than that to get your reward.
Also, when zoning into the Vestibule for the first time, it will give you two options that are the same The Vestibule , pick the lower one to receive your update.
Good luck! Might be worth the time now that Obelisk has been revamped? Started the quest and camped Blikritz for 2 hours and still no spawn Just a comment, right now this is the most worthless instance ever.
